How to export ring width data in tabular format

I've experimented with importing a CooRecorder generated file as a text file into Excel for analysis, as I'd prefer have a few descriptive statistics about my ring width data. However, it's cumbersome to deal with the text file whenever I have included more than one point per line during the record...

Re: CNRS Database

... Now that Lars Ake has implemented in CDendro (test version) a reading mechanism for [Besancon data], I can create without problem a collection from the roman time files. But if I try to create a collection from the medieval-contemporary chronology file (Hist20050126-EBes.txt), it seems to me as...

New development version - Finding missed or false rings

There is now a new option "Extended block length test" of the "Make block correlation analysis" button on the Workbench tab. When a block has been tested, it is successively lengthened with the blockdistance and then again with the blockdistance. These new blocks are tested for b...

New development version - some new features

We are now testing a new development version available on the test area. The main new feature is a small window (1b) where all open samples and collections are visible, see below! http://www.cybis.se/forumimages/windowlistdemo1.gif Note that the sample window is here shown in Windows Maximized mode!...

Where to buy increment borers on the internet?

Haglof has an extensive site with information on various tools. You will find it at http://www.haglof.se You will also find their product catalog as a .pdf file there to download. Some 1-2 years ago I bought an increment borer directly from them, so probably you can get some price information from t...

New features: Stem density and block correlations

http://www.cybis.se/forumimages/stemdensitydemo.jpg Two new features of the test/development version of CDendro: 1. The stem density (chronology replication) of mean value curves created from collections is now shown in the curve diagrams (marked yellow above). The density of the reference is shown...

Dating samples already within CooRecorder

http://www.cybis.se/forumimages/dateddemo.jpg Within the development/test version of CooRecorder there is now a mechanism for dating the measurement series. Dating can be done in two ways: 1. dating of the outermost ring 2. dating of a selected ring which has been identified as a known pointer year...

Mean value normalized curve and inserted zero rings

This is quite an odd case, but possibly worth to be documented: The button "Create mean value sample" of a collection will open a new window with mean value curves created from your collection. Then the normalized curve of that mean value sample is created as mean values of all the normali...

On collection building

When building a new collection, be aware of the command (button) "Add best members to target collection". If often works fine. When the "adding mechanism" cannot continue to build, then create another new empty target collection and continue with that. That way you may end up wit...
